Syracuse University Libraries receives requests for reserves primarily through Ares, Syracuse University Libraries Reserve Request System. Reserve requests are no longer accepted via Blackboard course tools. Faculty may request books and other physical items to be placed on reserves. However, electronic reserves services are no longer offered through the Libraries.
Personal copies could take up to 48 hours to be available for students.
Physical items (books, CDs, music scores) are also listed by course and instructor in the Course Reserves tab of Classic Catalog. These items must be checked out from a library service desk. Use our Classic Catalog Course Reserve search to learn if the item you need is currently available.
