Biography

Laura Teitelbaum (b. 1897) graduated from Syracuse University in 1918 with a Bachelor of Art degree. Originally from Newark, New Jersey, Teitelbaum was a member of the Zoology Club, Women's Cosmopolitan Club, and Graphite Club during her time at Syracuse University.


Scope and Content Note

The Laura Teitelbaum Papers contain materials from the 1918 commencement ceremony and other events occurring that week. The collection has a commencement ceremony program, commencement week schedule, play and oration contest programs, and a menu from a dinner hosted by the Cosmopolitan Club. The collection also contains a copy of Chancellor Charles W. Flint's inaugural address, delivered on November 17, 1922.
