Biography
Morgan W. Redmore graduated from Syracuse University in 1931 with a degree in business administration. He was associate editor of the student newspaper, the Daily Orange, and managing editor of the yearbook, the Onondagan. He was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha social fraternity, the Pi Delta Epsilon honorary journalism fraternity, and the Double Seven class honorary society. Redmore remained in the Syracuse area after graduation and was active in a number of local organizations including the Boy Scouts. He worked in journalism and public relations and led his class reunion committee.
Scope and Content Note
The Morgan W. Redmore Papers consist of printed material, photographs, and paper ephemera related to the Syracuse University Class of 1931’s 25th reunion in 1956. Also included in the collection is a flag with the Syracuse University seal from the same time period.
The Memorabilia series comprises a large orange flag with the Syracuse University seal.
The Reunions series consists of materials related to Redmore's own 25th reunion and several of the preceding 25th reunions at Syracuse University. This series primarily relates to the reunion yearbooks each class published.
