Biography
LeVay C. Mattice was a student who graduated from Syracuse University in 1928 with a Business Administration degree in General Business. While at Syracuse, he was manager of the Boar's Head Dramatic Society, an associate editor of The Daily Orange, and a member of Corpse and Coffin. Mattice was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity.
Scope and Content Note
The collection comprises publications, some photographs, and clippings related to Mattice’s membership in Beta Theta Pi. Mattice's scrapbook, featuring Beta Theta Pi event programs and newspaper clippings among other materials, is included in the collection. There is also a great deal of Mattice's correspondence, which can be found in the majority of the folders. Additionally, the collection includes a number of newsletters and programs relating to Syracuse University alumni events.
