John F. Luchsinger and Pamela Baumgartner Luchsinger are alumni of Syracuse University.
John (Jack) F. Luchsinger, Jr. (1945- ) was a lawyer and active community member who married Pamela Baumgartner Luchsinger (1946- ). John received his bachelor's degree in history and English from Syracuse University in 1966. Pamela received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1967. John and Pamela were involved in many events and organizations at Syracuse University. Pamela was in the Goon Squad and a member of Delta Gamma. John was a member of Phi Gamma Delta and a cheerleader. After Syracuse University, John then went on to get his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School in 1971. In 1990 he was an adjunct professor at Syracuse University and a former school board member in the Jamesville-DeWitt School District. Pamela was a member of Eta Pi Upsilon and was awarded the Melvin A. Eggers Senior Alumni Award as a member of the Eta Pi Upsilon Alumnae Board in 2008. John and Pamela are retired and living in the Syracuse, New York area.
The John F. and Pamela Baumgartner Luchsinger Memorabilia contains two hats, a megaphone, and Syracuse University publication. The two hats represent student life and organizations on campus. Included is John's freshman beanie from 1962 and Pamela's handmade Goon Squad hat from 1964. Various memorabilia on the hat from 1963 and 1964 include football game tickets and buttons about Homecoming and Spring Weekend. Additionally, there is a megaphone from when John was a cheerleader. Lastly, a Syracuse University publication called The Orangeaid 66 was given to the entering classes as a class directory.
