Biography
Richard Ben Kimball attended Syracuse University from 1935 to 1939 and graduated with a Liberal Arts degree. He participated in track, ROTC, and band.
Scope and Content Note
The Richard Ben Kimball Papers consist of programs, newspaper clippings, memorabilia, and student records related to Syracuse University athletics and Kimball’s time as a student at the university. The collection is arranged into two series:
The Memorabilia series is composed of armbands, a class ribbon, and a vest that he may have worn as a student or alumnus. It also contains paper ephermera.
The Papers series comprises school materials such as schedules and library cards, newspaper clippings, and materials that document campus events and student activities such as athletic programs and tickets. Of special interest may be the parking ticket he received in 1937.
