Historical Note
The Syracuse University Dames was an organization at Syracuse University for wives of students, or married female students. It was one chapter of a larger nationwide organization known as the National Association of University Dames. The Syracuse University Dames was established as a group in October of 1930. The organization ceased to exist sometime after 1979.
Scope and Content Note
This collection consists of materials dated 1939 to 1979. Types of materials in this collection include scrapbooks, booklets, notes, ledgers, and other information relating to the running of the Syracuse University Dames.
