Historical Note

The Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) was founded in 1986 and is designed to support undergraduate students from historically disadvantaged and underrepresented groups who are intending on pursuing a career in scientific and technical fields. The program is funded by the New York State Education Department and is in practice at fifty universities in the state of New York, including at Syracuse University. It offers research experience, training workshops, graduate school and testing preparation, and other opportunities for professional development for students.

The Syracuse University Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program Records contains publications and other printed materials produced by CSTEP, such as brochures, fliers, and conference programs.

Please note that the collection is housed off-site, and advance notice is required to allow time to have the materials brought to the Reading Room on campus.
