Biography

Gladys R. Cranmer (1891-1945) was a student at Syracuse University from 1912 to 1916. She studied to be a librarian and worked Syracuse University's Carnegie Library after graduation until 1921. She then moved to work in State College, Pennsylvania where she remained until her death in 1945.


Scope and Content Note

The Gladys R. Cranmer Papers consist of correspondence, certificates, and student records related to Cranmer's time as a student and working as a librarian at Syracuse University. The collection includes bible study certificates, class schedules, and alumni association membership cards, as well as correspondence related to her work as a librarian at Pennsylvania State College (now Pennsylvania State University).
