Historical Note

New York State’s Center of Excellence in Environmental and Energy Systems at Syracuse University (SyracuseCoE), is a part of the initiative started by Empire State Development's Division of Science, Technology, and Innovation to connect universities and businesses and have them collaborate in emerging technology fields in New York State.

SyracuseCoE is one of thirteen institutions that is funded by this initiative, and is partnered with Syracuse University, the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry and State University of New York at Oswego. Researchers at SyracuseCoE focus primarily on technology to improve the quality of indoor environments and water resources, as well as ways to produce clean and renewable energy.


Scope and Content Note

The Center of Excellence in Environmental and Energy Systems at Syracuse University Records comprises publications produced by the SyracuseCoE, including brochures, programs, and proposals.

Please note that the collection is housed off-site, and advance notice is required to allow time to have the materials brought to the Reading Room on campus.
