Biography

Photograph of Louise Ann Rogers

Louise Ann "Luann" Rogers, born February 13, 1967, was a senior at the Maryland Institute of Art studying in London through Syracuse University's Division of International Programs Abroad (DIPA). Luann studied painting, sculpture, and photography. She had recently changed her major from interior design to fine arts. Luann was survived by her parents, Oregon and Ann; and siblings, Becky, Ken, Lawton, and Jay. They remember her as "colorful and offbeat, Luann did everything with style."


A scholarship was established in her name at Sherwood High School, from which Luann had graduated.

Scope and Content Note

The Louise Ann Rogers Papers contain two series of materials, Audiovisual Materials, and Photographs, related to Luann Rogers, one of the 35 students studying abroad through Syracuse University's Division of International Programs Abroad (DIPA) killed in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland. The former contains a DVD of a presentation about Luann.
