Historical Note

On Eagles' Wings is a collection of photos and information on all 270 victims Pan Am Flight 103/Lockerbie Air Disaster on 21 December 1988. This book was compiled in remembrance of the victims by Georgia Nucci whose son Christopher Jones was aboard the flight. Most of the information in the book was collected from the victims’ families and was gathered from obituaries. Some pages are left blank per the instruction of the family.

Scope and Content Note

The On Eagles' Wings Collection contains two series: Publications and Victim files.

Publications contains the 1990 and 2000 edition of On Eagles' Wings as well as the manuscript and photographs used in the book.

Victim files contains files on all 270 victims of the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland on 21 December 1988. These files contain photos, obituaries and some correspondence from the families.
