Biographical History

Scotty was a white collie owned by Rev. J. B. Felt of Clifton Springs, New York. He was well-known in the community, particularly for his daily trip to the station to meet the mail train where he would pick up the bundle of Geneva Times and deliver it to the postmaster.


Scope and Contents of the Collection

The Scotty Collection contains newspaper clippings and photographs of Rev. J. B. Felt and his white collie, Scotty. Many of the photographs are annotated on the back with names and dates. There is also a photo of Rev. Felt "and his famous hen Lady Marvel."
