Biographical History

Denis Brian (1923- ) is a Welsh journalist and author, best known for his biographies.

He was born in Cardiff, South Wales and began his career as a journalist for The Irish News. In 1959, he emigrated to the United Staes and worked as a freelance writer. He is the author of over 30 books, including biographies of Tallulah Bankhead, Albert Einstein, Ernest Hemingway, Truman Capote, and Jeane Dixon. Mr. Brian's style of biography was to interview those surrounding the subject of his work to provide deeper context to the story.
