Scope and Contents of the Collection

The Latin ms fragment: Job 17 and chant consists of a single vellum leaf, about 11.5" x 4.25". The leaf is written on both sides in medieval Latin in uncial script, with the typical red and blue decorated capitals. Liturgical chant in square notation appears at the top and bottom of each page, with Latin text in the middle. On one side, the text begins "Spiritus meus attenuabitur dies mei breviabuntur, & solum mihi superest sepulchrum," which is from the book of Job, Chapter 17.
