The Program Management Center (PMC) serves to centralize information for management decision-making statistics, assessment, project management, and scheduling. PMC assists the Libraries in identifying, processing, analyzing, interpreting, and maintaining the information it needs to provide effective spaces and services for patrons. The Facilities & Security area is part of PMC.
What we do:
- Using a project-oriented approach, develop continuous improvement mindset through practice of assessment, process improvement, and streamlined workflows.
- Educate library staff on the new processes implemented and assess improvements by monitoring metrics.
- Develop a centralized repository of information available to the library staff to help manage, provide benchmarks, and comparative data from other universities, and show where possible improvements can be made.
- Use data to advocate for more budget and staff resources and improved facilities.
