The Research and Scholarship department is home to subject, research data, and collection development and analysis librarians, with offices in Bird or Carnegie Libraries, or the King + King Architecture Library.
The mission of the Research and Scholarship department is to:
- Foster creative exchanges across disciplines and colleges through imaginative partnerships and collaborative programs
- Advance faculty and student excellence by providing essential collections matched with subject-specific teaching and instruction services
- Encourage open access to and ensure long-term preservation of the research and creative output produced at Syracuse University for discovery and use by faculty, students, and the broader academic community
