About The Productive Researcher

Welcome to The Productive Researcher, a general library research skills tutorial. Designed with undergraduate students in mind, The Productive Researcher also provides a quick review or update for the experienced researcher.

The Productive Researcher consists of six modules presented in text and video.  The same material is covered in both of these formats, so you can pick whichever format you prefer.  If completed in the order listed in the menu on the left side of your monitor, each module builds upon the knowledge and skills developed in the previous module. However, you may complete the modules in any order you wish or complete only the module(s) in which you are interested.

The Productive Researcher also includes follow-up exercises and worksheets in each module to help you apply what you learn to your own research.
