1. Before you start
1.1 Browser
MS Windows users: This application is developed and tested for usage with the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser version 5.5 or higher. Other browsers or browser versions may cause problems in using the application.Macintosh users: This application is developed and tested for usage with the Mozilla 1.4 browser and MS Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher. Other browsers or browser versions may cause problems in using this application.
1.2 Fonts
MS Windows users - Before you start using this application, you need to install the Baskerville for Brill fonts. Click on "Brill fonts PC" in the top frame to download and install the required fonts. The fonts are in a .zip file and should be extracted and installed on your system. On Windows 98/2000/NT they can simply be copied into your system's font directory, e.g. C:\WINNT\FONTS. On Windows XP, they should be installed via the Control Panel.Macintosh users - Before you start using this application, you need to install the Baskerville for Brill fonts. Click on "Brill fonts Mac" in the top frame to download and install the required fonts. The fonts are in a .sit file and should be extracted and placed into your system's font library.

To find out whether the Library subscribes to a particular journal, check two places:

will provide a link to Interlibrary Loan, if the article you are seeking is not available through Syracuse University Library.
Interlibrary loan/Illiad: To request an article not available through Syracuse University library's own collections, please submit an Interlibrary Loan request. If you have not used Interlibrary Loan/Illiad before, you will need to click on First Time Users! to create an account.

Use SUMMIT Catalog limit options to limit a keyword search to e-resources. Here's how:
- Click on: SUMMIT Catalog
- Click on: Apply Limits
