Physics and Astronomy
The resources in the physics collection primarily support the teaching and
research activities of the Physics Department, at both the undergraduate
and graduate levels. In addition, students and faculty with interests in
such areas as physical chemistry, materials science and engineering, and
biophysics also use the physics resources at an advanced level. The areas
of strongest collection support include astronomy, elementary particle physics,
relativity and astrophysics, condensed matter physics, computational physics,
and biophysics.
