How to Find a Song Text was created to help singers and others who need to find songs and song lyrics more easily locate them. This guide provides:

• citations of actual collections of classical song lyrics among our holdings;
• references to different types of anthologies and their locations in Fine Arts;
• citations to other types of lyrics anthologies (folk music, shows);
• ways of successfully searching for a particular song in score or on a recording by means of SUMMIT Local Catalog (using key words, limits, etc);

  
  

• other sources of song lyrics including online databases, song indexes, and composer collections.
