About E-Journals

To see if the library has access to a journal in electronic form, start by searching for the journal title in the E-Journal Locator.

Click the SULinks button in the entry for the title; a new window opens in which several options may be presented for connecting to the journal content. Enter details about year, volume, issue, and pages, if known, to go most directly to a specific article.

If the title is not listed in the E-Journal Locator, or if the volume you need is not listed under the title, it may be held by the library in print form. Do a "Journal Title" search from the Basic Search screen in SUMMIT to check for print holdings.

E-Journal Locator Search Methods

Use the E-Journal Locator to search for e-journals:

  • By title (with the Title tab selected) and selecting "Starts With," Contains," or "Exact."
  • By subject categories (with the Category tab selected). Select a category in the left box, then select a subcategory. Select multiple subcategories by holding down the CONTROL key while selecting.
  • By a combination of title, ISSN, vendor, and category (with the Locate tab selected).
