Database: Contemporary Women's Issues
Description: Full-text articles on a broad range of women's issues, bringing together such disciplines as sociology, psychology, health, education, child and family studies, marriage and family therapy, aging, gerontology and human rights. Over 600 sources world wide, including more than 100 periodicals. Coverage starts with 1992.

Database: GenderWatch
Description: Full-text publications that focus on the impact of gender across a broad spectrum of subject areas.

Database: Studies on Women and Gender Abstracts
Description: Coverage includes education, employment, women in the family and community, medicine and health, female sex and gender role socialization, social policy, the social psychology of women, female culture, media treatment of women, biography, literary criticism and historical studies. Where possible, abstracts are linked to full text. Covers 1995 - present.

Database: Women and Social Movements in the United States, 1600 to 2000
Description: Women and Social Movements in the United States brings together books, images, documents, scholarly essays, commentaries, and bibliographies, documenting the multiplicity of women's reform activities.

Database: Women's Studies International

Description: Includes materials ranging from core writings to ground-breaking feminist scholarship in the areas of sociology, history, political science & economy, public policy, international relations, gender studies, arts & humanities, business and education. Full text resources are compiled from over 800 sources including journal articles, books, newspapers, dissertations and theses and grey literature. The database covers from 1972 - present. Description: Historical coverage of the world from 1450 to the present.

General Databases

Database: CQ Researcher
Description: An encyclopedia addressing public policy issues. Over 44 reports are released each year, covering legislative action in areas ranging from social and teen issues to environment, health and nutrition, education, international affairs, economics and science and technology. Each report focuses on a single topic and features concise background discussion and chronologies, overviews of the current situation, pro and con commentary, as well as online links to relevant organizations, and a lengthy bibliography of related books and articles. Database: Social Sciences Abstracts
Description: Index with abstracts in sociology, social work, aging, gerontology, child and family studies, marriage and family therapy and other social sciences.
