- A science portal of technical reports. Developed by the Department
of Energy's Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI), in
collaboration with DOD/DTIC, NASA, and EPA, the GrayLIT Network is a
portal for technical report information generated through federally
funded research and development projects. Included are:

- Covers subjects related to sustainable energy technologies from 1977
to the present.
- National
Technical Information Service Library
- The National Technical Information Service (NTIS) is the largest central
resource for government-funded scientific, technical, engineering, and
business related information. Search the NTIS Library to find documents
back to 1990; some available electronically in full text free of charge.
For documents that are not availabe free, check other full text sources
listed on this page and check the SUMMIT
catalog to ascertain if Syracuse University Library owns it. If not
available within these resources, request item through Interlibrary
Loan (ILLIAD).
- NASA Technical Reports Server (NTRS)
- Search for citations from all NASA technical report servers, including the NACA archive dating back to 1917, selected citations from non-NASA sources (arXiv, BioMed Central, Energy Citations Database, Aeronautical Research Committee), and full-text links to technical reports, when available online.A complete list and detailed content information is available at NASA STI Program and NTRS.

- OAIster is a project of the University of Michigan Digital Library Production Service. A collection of freely available, previously difficult-to-access, academically-oriented digital resources that are easily searchable by anyone. 6,318,569 records from 574 institutions were included as of January 11, 2006. Among other document types, this is a great place to search for full text of theses and dissertations.
