African studies is multidisciplinary in scope, and this site covers print and electronic sources on Africa that will be relevant to Syracuse University scholars. Many of the electronic sources found here are based on two comprehensive research sites on African Studies; Columbia and Stanford Universities (see under the section Research Centers, African Studies Programs, and Library Collections).
The construction of this web site is an ongoing, evolving process. If you have any comments or suggestions of websites that would be relevant to our programs and research at Syracuse University, please do not hesitate to contact Bonnie Ryan (see above).
See the Department of African American Studies for further information on courses and curriculum in Pan-African Studies. See also the website for the Martin Luther King Library, Sims Hall for other sources on Africa.
