The Helpline service provides assistance to users anywhere in Bird Library, during the same hours as the 1st floor service desks.

The Helpline phone number is displayed on signs throughout the building. Users may call or text and library staff will respond immediately.

Some of the most common Helpline questions have included:

  • Problems finding books on the shelves
  • Printer or copier issues
  • Choosing the right database or search terms
  • Determining a book’s availability
  • Submitting online service requests
