About  Letters About Literature

A reading promotion program for school children in grades 4-12.  We collaborate with the Library of Congress in this annual, nation-wide program to encourage critical reading and creative writing.  New York State has three winners each year, one for each of three grade groupings (grades 4-6, 7-8, and 9-12).  Their letters are entered into the national contest.  See the names, locations, and essays below.
