Physics Library

The Physics Library, with holdings of more than 50,000 volumes and approximately 100 active serial subscriptions, is housed in the Physics Building. Periodical holdings prior to 1980 are generally located in publicly accessible storage on the fourth level of the Science and Technology Library in the Carnegie Building.

Subject Areas:

Astronomy, elementary particle physics (experimental and theoretical), relativity and astrophysics, condensed matter physics (experimental and theoretical), computational physics, and biophysics are included in the physics library collection.

Services:

Circulation, reserves, self-service copying (vendacard only), online access to networked library products and services such as the catalog, databases, electronic journals, and ILLiad, our interlibrary loan/document delivery service. The Physics Library is now wireless to accommodate laptops.
