Stata is a powerful statistical software package available to Syracuse University students, faculty and staff. Stata has the advantages of being fast, fully programmable and easy to learn.

Stata is available for use in the Geographic and Statistical Information Center (G-SIC). A full set of manuals is available as well. Anyone needing assistance in using Stata should contact the Numeric Data Services Librarian.
