Reports, Ready-Made Tables and Table Creators

The following sites have pages where you can either create your own tables online, or search for ready-made tables. These can be useful in finding data to analyze or for finding statistics to use in a paper.

Table Databases

  • TableBase TableBase records are drawn from more than 1000 sources in the Business & Industry database and from statistical annuals, brokerage reports, trade association reports, and governmental reports and provide information such as: market share, market size, capacity, production, imports, exports, sales, product and brand rankings, forecasts, healthcare statistics and demographics.   • LexisNexis Statistical Statistical information from the Congressional Information Service, Inc. The service allows users to search summaries of statistical publications then link to the full text of selected publications on Statistical Universe and government websites.   • FedStats The gateway to statistics from over 100 U.S. Federal agencies

  • Climate Information from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology
  • Services and Products of the Australian Bureau of Meteorology provides several thousand products in a variety of formats using several delivery media. Most products are freely available, however some of the more specialised ones attract a cost recovery charge. This page explains the types of products which are available, the main access and delivery channels, and provides references to charging and subscriber information.

Environment

  • Envirofacts a single point of access to select U.S. EPA environmental data. This website provides access to several EPA databases to provide you with information about environmental activities that may affect air, water, and land anywhere in the United States.
  • EPA Publications Source Provides access to EPA technical and public information.

Water

  • NOAA Charting and Navigation provides world-class information products and services to aid domestic and global commerce, promote safe and efficient marine and air transportation, and add to our understanding of the world's oceans.
  • Publications and Images From the National Snow and Ice Data Center
  • Databases From the International Hydrological Programme (IHP), UNESCO's intergovernmental scientific co-operative programme in water resources
