Digital Rights Management Guidelines
Syracuse University Digital Library (SUDL) collections are comprised of a variety of types of material with differing copyright statuses. These materials are provided for personal research or educational use only. It is the user's responsibility to determine and satisfy copyright or other use restrictions before publishing, reproducing, transmitting or otherwise distributing materials from Library digital collections. Each digital project/collection will include a rights statement specific to its content to enable users and library staff to easily determine appropriate use of the content. Those wishing to publish or distribute material from these collections should send permission requests to the contact address listed in the collection. The Library will make permission decisions on a case-by-case basis and may charge a usage fee, depending on the type of proposed use.
The Syracuse University Library Copyright web page contains general information on copyright at Syracuse University and links to a variety of useful information resources.
