Services - Digital Imaging Services Center (DISC)
Instructional Materials
The Library will subsidize DISC scanning charges for materials
intended for use by faculty in classroom teaching or online
course development. |
All Other Materials
Scanning and printing services for all other materials are available
to faculty, students, and staff. Please refer to the fees associated
with each service for details. |

Please Note: The DISC is a full production facility.
If you are interested in self-service scanning, printing or
multimedia file creation or editing, please consider the following
options:

Scanning Services [fees]
- Standard and large format sizes up to 54" wide, .6" thick
- Documents
- Photographs
- Working drawings
- Blueprints
- Line art
- 35mm slides
- 35mm negatives
- Optical Character Recognition (OCR) text scanning including
clean-up
- Image cleanup and color adjustment
- Temporary storage of in-production image files

in digitizing materials you don't see represented!
Printing Services [fees]
- Non-archival color printing of digital image files in a variety
of sizes up to 36" wide
- Files must be transported to the DISC
on some type of external storage media (e.g., USB drive, CD, DVD, Zip drive, iPod, etc.)
- Files must adhere to certain specifications.
Media Delivery Services [fees]
- Output to customer-provided portable file storage using CR-R/CD-RW//DVD+R/Zip,
flash drive or similar technology
All production work will be completed in
accordance with U.S. copyright law.
