Collections

Special Collections curators work to build Syracuse University's collection of rare books and manuscripts by purchasing materials and accepting donations. We accept donations of selected materials [please refer to the PDF link for specific area Collection Development Policies] in each of our collecting areas, including:

  • African American literature
  • Architecture and Design
  • Photography
  • Broadcasting history
  • Pulp Fiction
  • History of Recorded Sound
  • Literary and artistic radicalism

Funds

We welcome financial contributions that help us to acquire, preserve, and provide access to Syracuse University's rare book and manuscript collections and which support programs like the Research Roundtable. All gifts are fully tax-deductible contributions to Syracuse University.

To make a gift, simply visit our secure site at GivetoSU.syr.edu

  1. Designate your gift to "S.U. Libraries."
