Historical Note

Phi Delta Kappa is a professional society for educators. At Syracuse University, the Alpha Phi Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa was involved with the School of Education for many years but is no longer active. It is unclear when the chapter went inactive but the Archives has clippings of the organization up until 1976.


Scope and Content Note

The collection spans from 1936 to 1941 and includes the chapter's newsletter Alpha Phi Quarterly, an installation program and an initiation program.
