Scope and Contents of the Collection

An illustrated Christmas letter and an illustrated manuscript, "The Naughty Little Girl who went to see her Grandmama," comprise the Kate Greenaway Manuscripts. These items of the English illustrator and author (1846-1901) were used in George Arents' 1954 Christmas card, a specimen of which is found in the Library's rare book collections.
