Irvin S. Cobb (1876-1944) was an American author and humorist. He was best known for his humorous stories of Kentucky life, such as in his book Old Judge Priest.
The Irvin S. Cobb Letter consists of a letter written by Cobb to Mrs. Frederick Fuhrer, dated 8 Feb 1928. In the letter, Cobb informs Mrs. Fuhrer that he is not accepting speaking engagements currently, and he will be unable to come to Gloversville, New York to give a lecture as she requested.
