Library research guide software supports SU's Goldring Arts Journalists, Newhouse School

Students enrolled in the Newhouse School's Goldring Arts Journalism program have published their annual magazine, entitled The Mix, which also appears as an insert in the September 4 Syracuse Post-Standard newspaper. Upon arrival at SU this summer, these aspiring professionals received a multi-disciplinary arts journalism research guide, created by a team of SU librarians using web content management software called Libguides. Communications Librarian Michael Pasqualoni coordinated the library orientation and guide creation, which includes significant contributions by Ann Skiold (Arts Librarian), Carole Vidali (Music Librarian), Barbara Opar (Architecture Librarian), Robert Hodge (Audio Engineer) and Will LaMoy (Curator of Rare Books and Printed Materials). Similar SU Library guides have been created for other disciplines and appear on the library's web site under the link entitled Resources by Subject.
