About Syracuse University Library

Syracuse University Library includes E.S. Bird Library (humanities, social sciences, fine arts, media resources, government publications, maps, and special collections); the Science and Technology Library, located in the Carnegie Library Building; the Mathematics Library (Carnegie Building); the Physics Library (Physics Building); the Geology Library (Heroy Geology Laboratory); the Architecture Reading Room (Warehouse), and the Belfer Audio Laboratory and Archive.

Directions

From Route 81
Both northbound and southbound travelers on Interstate 81 should exit at Adams Street (Exit 18). Drive east up the Adams Street hill (past Upstate Medical Center) to University Avenue (4th traffic light). Turn right on University Avenue and proceed to Waverly Avenue (2nd intersection). Turn left on Waverly Avenue. E. S. Bird Library is the second building on your right.

Parking
Metered parking is available in front of Bird Library. Also, the Marion Visitor's Lot is located just past the Library on the left. Consult the North Campus Parking Map for additional Visitor's Parking.
