INTERESTS

  • Collections, Economics of information, scholarly communication and publishing, space issues in libraries; development of e-science.
  • Scott became Head of Collections in 2011. From 2008-2010 he was Bibliographer for the Sciences and Technology,
  • Before coming to Syracuse, Scott Warren was the Associate Director of the Textiles Library and Engineering Services at the North Carolina State University Libraries. From 2002-2004 he was Librarian for Physical and Mathematical Sciences and in 2001 began his career at the NCSU Libraries as a Library Fellow.  He holds an MA in Library and Information Studies from The University of Wisconsin-Madison and B.S.’s in Physics, Mathematics, and Astronomy and a B.A. in History from The Pennsylvania State University
