Biography

Jennifer Vaughn joined the Syracuse University Libraries in 2013 as a Technical Specialist in music cataloging. Before her appointment at SU, she worked as a sheet music cataloger and Music Library circulation assistant at the University of Michigan. She has held internships at the New York Public Library Music Division, the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage, and at the Media Preserve in Pittsburgh, PA. She is also an active symphonic cellist, chamber musician, and private cello instructor.

Ms. Vaughn received her MSI from the University of Michigan School of Information, and holds a M. Mus. in Violoncello Performance from Kent State University and a B. Mus. in Violoncello Performance from the Oberlin College Conservatory.
