Teresa is the project coordinator for the NEH funded “Marcel Breuer Digital Archive.” The goal of this project is to bring together geographically disparate collections relating to the career of the modernist architect Marcel Breuer (1902-1981) in a critical online edition. Teresa is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the department of Art History & Archaeology at Columbia University. Her research interests include twentieth-century German architecture and urban planning, with an emphasis on the intersection of social and aesthetic reform. Her dissertation entitled “Transforming the City: The Kampffmeyer Family and the German Garden City Association” investigates the intellectual history and built work of the German Garden City Movement. She received her B.A. in Art History from Williams College in 1998 and her M.A. in Art History from Columbia in 2003.
