BiographyRoberta Gwilt is the associate dean for access and resource management at Syracuse University Library. She provides leadership and administrative oversight to three departments: Access & Resource Sharing; Acquisitions/Cataloging; and Preservation/Conservation. Prior to her current appointment, she held positions as catalog librarian, head/Monographs Dept., head/Acquisitions Dept., and associate university librarian for academic resources. She was a participant in the 2007 Frye Institute. She served as chair of the Library’s strategic planning steering committee in 1999/2000; their final report, Targets for Transformation, was cited in the Encyclopedia of Library and Information Science (2000). She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in library science from Syracuse University. |
