BiographyBrian Dobreski is Catalog Librarian at Syracuse University, where he oversees the projects cataloging unit and serves as NACO contributor. Prior to his appointment at Syracuse, Brian was a librarian at University of Rochester’s Eastman School of Music, where he worked on a project funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities to digitize and catalog public domain music scores. Brian previously served as Automation/Technical Services Librarian for the Onondaga County Public Library System, performing cataloging and systems work, and as Adult Services Librarian for Fayetteville Free Library. He is a member of ALCTS CCS Continuing Education Committee, and serves on the board of the Pi Lambda Sigma Chapter of Beta Phi Mu. Brian holds a BM in Music Therapy from Nazareth College and an MS in Library and Information Science from Syracuse University. |
