The Program Management Center serves to centralize information for management decision-making statistics, assessment, project management and scheduling. PMC is designed to assist the Libraries in identifying, processing, analyzing, interpreting and maintaining the information it needs to help provide a better place and services for patrons.
Using a project-oriented approach, develop continuous improvement mindset through practice of assessment, process improvement and streamlined workflows.
Educate library staff on the new processes implemented and assess improvements by monitoring metrics.
Develop a centralized repository of information that is available to the library staff to help manage, provide benchmarks and comparative data from other universities, and show where possible improvements can be made.
Use data to advocate for more budget and staff resources and improved facilities.
