Visual Style

Introduction

A visual style provides consistency, adds polish, increases reputation, and nurtures trust. These guidelines outline the standards used in maintaining a consistent public image that reinforces the mission of the Syracuse University Libraries.

Our visual style coordinates with the University's overall identity, yet still allows us our own style and personality.

ELEMENTS OF THE VISUAL STYLE

  • A single, non-modifiable, non-customizable wordmark ensures brand consistency.
  • Primary and secondary color palettes create cohesiveness across all communications.
  • A defined typography system standardizes publications and all other materials that represent the SU Libraries.

Details can be found in their respective sections.

We hope you find these pages helpful in visually aligning your communications with the SU Libraries objectives.
